Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role are assisting in pre-op, intra-op, and post op care, including:
- Conducting focused clinical assessments to ensure patients are safely prepared for their procedures.
- Carry out physician orders, manage IV insertions, and provide safe, compassionate care.
- Maintain accurate and efficient patient documentation within EPIC.
- Anticipate physician needs and assist during GI procedures.
- Accurately handles all specimens, completes laboratory request forms, and verifies information is correct.
- Ensures equipment and supplies are cleaned, disinfected, and available when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary:
Hiring range, based on experience and credentials:
- Level I: $47.53 - $64.31 per hour.
- Level II: $52.29 - $70.74 per hour.
Workdays: This role is located at Gateway Medical Office Building. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm; four 10-hour shifts, day off: T.B.D.
Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including:
- Current Oregon state licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse is strongly preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS will be required.
- Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus!
- Demonstrated ability to take the initiative, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
- A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
