Position Overview
Elevate Technology Solutions is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support cloud-based software development and system operations within a federal cloud program.

This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software for cloud computing systems, with an emphasis on Azure-based environments and data transport operations. The position supports system functionality, application development, and ongoing modernization efforts across distributed cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software for cloud-based systems and applications
Support development and enhancement of cloud-native applications in Azure environments
Assist in maintaining and improving system software, including upgrades and enhancements
Provide guidance and support to development teams on system functionality and operations
Support system integration, testing, and validation activities
Troubleshoot and resolve software and system performance issues
Assist in ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based applications
Contribute to technical documentation, system design artifacts, and operational procedures
Collaborate with engineering teams to support data transport and system operations

Required Qualifications

Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
U.S. Citizenship required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in software development or cloud engineering
Experience developing applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS, GCP, or OCI acceptable)
Understanding of software development lifecycle and cloud system operations

Certifications

DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II required or obtainable within 6 months)
One or more cloud certifications required within 6 months of hire
