Full Job Description

Occupational Summary:

The CLE Compliance Specialist is responsible for the administrative support of continuing education records and processing within the organization. This will include: the oversight of onsite, online, seminars, and conference applications. The Compliance Specialist should be professional and courteous in their communication, detail-oriented, computer literate, and able to forecast what will be needed for each event; essentially a good planner. The Compliance Specialist must be highly organized in order to ensure that all course offerings and credit postings are completed, follow-up takes place as needed, and credit is properly posted with applicable regulatory boards. It is imperative that this person be strong in telephone and e-mail communication, in order to maintain communication with regulatory boards and internal team members.

Work Performed:

The compliance specialist will perform [at a minimum] the following tasks:

Responsible for for reporting attendees to the applicable regulatory boards for all education events/courses within the organization, including but not limited to, the oversight of on-site, self-study, online, seminars, and conferences.
Update education records on LMS (Learning Management Systems)
Understanding of data analytics and compiling course completion records based on state requirements.
Understanding and maintain knowledge of the various licensing board rules and regulations.
Assist in creating materials for large venues [Roster forms, Certificates of Completion, and credit processing guidelines.)
Responsible for tracking credit posting fees
Project and task management for time sensitive requirements.
Must be proficient on the computer and web navigation. Special emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
Responsible for tracking and managing multiple incoming event rosters with necessary reminders and follow-ups (project management).
Required to maintain multiple databases (database management)
Will need to be focused on excellent customer service and have the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Must have excellent communication in phone, written, and email communication.
Responsible for managing the records archives.

Typical Key Tasks:

Data analysis and manipulation (attendance records)
Credit posting to various licensing boards
Follow-up of pending rosters
Follow-up of missing information from attendees
Phone/ Email Communication
Database management/manipulation
Reporting
Creation of course materials for large venue
Course closure and archive

EDUCATION/TRAINING

Position requires extensive analytical, organizational, technical and communications skills generally acquired through completion of an associate-level degree program.

EXPERIENCE

Work requires a minimum of three years experience within a similar compliance position. Insurance, education, or healthcare industry preferred.

**Experience with Legal Continuing Education (CLE) processing will be preferred.

OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
