Join Our Team! Property Accountant – V3 Capital Group, LLC

Are you a detail-driven, self-motivated accounting professional looking to grow your career and make a real impact? V3 Capital Group, LLC is seeking a talented Property Accountant to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while contributing to the financial performance of a diverse real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly, quarterly and year‐end financial statements / reporting packages for assigned portfolio
Responsible for the review of all reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Manages processes and coordinates with our 3rd party Accounting vendor / contractor
Complete / manage monthly property billing process
Maintain Yardi for all updates to include rents, move-outs, CAM rates, new tenants, deposits, etc.
Perform a wide variety of accounting analyses to include expense trends, budget variances, coding, etc.
Analyze various complex transactions within Yardi and identify appropriate accounting treatment
Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
Review / complete monthly bank and loan statements and subledger schedules as needed
Assist with complex property accounts payable to ensure accuracy
Record tenant payments received by mail, ACH, wires, etc.
Prepare / assists in common area maintenance and real estate tax reconciliations
Reconcile and allocate intercompany costs amongst different properties monthly
Assist with preparation and upload of annual operating budgets
Maintains open / effective communication with accounting team and property managers
Has a “can do” productive self‐motivated attitude, demonstrates initiative and suggests improved processes.
Assist management with special projects and other tasks as assigned.

Attributes Required

Excellent, computer, and communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office- Excel.
Ability to effectively communicate with various departments to achieve project goals.
Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of options in varying situations.
Requires analytical and quantitative skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Self-motivated, able to recognize and prioritize work to meet multiple deadlines on multiple tasks.

Experience

·Bachelors in accounting (preferred)
