Neuro ICU Registered Nurse – Columbus, Ohio

Shift: Day (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) / Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) rotation, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend
Hours/Week: 36 hours
Employment Type: Contract
Licensure/Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications), Ohio RN license required
Experience: Minimum of 2 years Neuro ICU experience

Hourly Pay Rate: $59.18

What You’ll Do:

Provide specialized nursing care to neuro ICU patients, including post-surgical and critical neurological cases
Monitor intracranial pressure, ventilators, and telemetry systems
Administer IV medications, conduct assessments, and document patient progress in Epic EHR system
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards

What You Need:

Valid Ohio RN license
At least 2 years of recent Neuro ICU experience
Certifications in BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
Skills in IV starts, ventilators, telemetry, intracranial pressure monitoring
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
