Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive patient care across diverse medical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of clinical expertise, including experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, medical documentation, and specialized procedures such as IV infusion, suturing, and catheterization. Your commitment to compassionate care and clinical excellence will support our mission to deliver high-quality healthcare services to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories.
Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining aseptic techniques.
Manage complex clinical procedures such as IV insertion, catheter care, tube feeding, and ventilator management.
Document patient care activities meticulously within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide triage services to prioritize urgent cases and facilitate timely interventions.
Support acute pain management, hospice & palliative care, and behavioral health needs with appropriate interventions.
Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, processing, and interpretation of results.
Educate patients and families on health conditions, medication administration, nutrition, and post-discharge care.
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Participate in discharge planning and case management activities to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse licensure in accordance with state or regional regulations.
Proven experience working in diverse clinical settings such as ICU, emergency room, long-term care facilities, or hospital medicine.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
Demonstrated expertise in critical care procedures such as trauma medicine, cardiac catheterization support, or neonatal resuscitation procedures.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in geriatrics and memory care units.
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and laboratory procedures.
Strong skills in patient assessment, airway management, medication administration (including IV infusion), and sterile techniques.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as Level I/II trauma centers or urgent care settings.
Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient-centered care.
Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred.
