Position Summary:
The Treatment Tech / Patient Care Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing physiotherapy treatments and supporting patients throughout their recovery and treatment plans under the direction of licensed providers.
This position will also receive paid cross-training in Medical Assistant responsibilities and may rotate through Craft Concierge Medicine and Tulsa Accident Care Center to build additional clinical skills. Cross-training may include phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, laboratory testing, clinical procedures, therapy modalities, and working within an advanced diagnostic imaging environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care, wants to expand their clinical experience, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare setting.
Essential Responsibilities
Treatment Technician Responsibilities — Primary Focus
· Provide physiotherapy treatments and passive therapies as directed by a licensed provider, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, traction, soft tissue therapies, and other prescribed modalities.
· Prepare patients for treatment and clearly explain therapy procedures.
· Monitor patient comfort, response, and progress during treatment.
· Communicate patient concerns, treatment responses, and relevant observations to providers and clinic leadership.
· Encourage and educate patients to support treatment-plan compliance and positive outcomes.
· Prepare, clean, and organize treatment rooms and equipment before and after each patient visit.
· Support efficient patient flow and help create a welcoming, comfortable clinical experience.
· Maintain treatment supplies, equipment, laundry, and inventory.
Medical Assistant Cross-Training and Support
· Participate in paid cross-training across Craft Concierge Medicine and Tulsa Accident Care Center.
· Room patients and obtain medical histories, vital signs, and other clinical information.
· Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and patient-care activities.
· Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, laboratory testing, and other clinical duties within the employee’s training and permitted scope.
· Prepare and update patient charts and maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
· Support medication administration and clinical procedures as permitted by training, company policy, and applicable law.
· Help patients understand care instructions, next steps, and follow-up needs.
· Gain experience supporting patients within an advanced imaging and integrated healthcare environment.
Patient Experience and Clinic Support
· Foster a warm, professional, and compassionate environment for patients.
· Provide clear, empathetic, and effective communication.
· Serve as a professional liaison between patients, providers, and other members of the clinical team.
· Assist with patient check-in, scheduling, phone calls, patient inquiries, and data entry when needed.
· Respond promptly and professionally to patient questions, calls, texts, and voicemails.
· Maintain accurate patient records and handle confidential information with discretion.
· Help keep the clinic clean, organized, stocked, and ready for daily operations.
· Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and fun team culture.
· Represent Craft Health Group professionally in all patient and team interactions.
Qualifications
Required
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Prior Medical Assistant, CNA, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, chiropractic, physical therapy, phlebotomy, sports medicine, or related clinical experience.
· Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
· Ability to multitask and adapt within a growing healthcare environment.
· Positive attitude, dependable work habits, and willingness to learn.
· Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Ability to learn and use electronic medical record and other business systems.
Preferred
· Medical Assistant certification or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
· Phlebotomy experience or certification. Or, willingness to learn phlebotomy and successfully complete company-paid training if requested based on business needs.
· Experience performing EKGs, vital signs, specimen collection, laboratory testing, or medication administration.
· CPR/BLS certification.
· Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or primary care
· Previous experience with EMR or CRM systems.
