Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Your expertise will help ensure the quality and precision of our metal products, contributing to the efficient manufacturing process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, welding skills, and fabrication experience in a dynamic environment committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Duties

Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately produce metal components.
Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure parts meet specified dimensions.
Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal materials.
Fabricate metal structures and ductwork with accuracy while adhering to safety protocols.
Assemble fabricated parts using welding, soldering, and mechanical fastening techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety procedures related to metal fabrication and welding operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in production welding in manufacturing environments with metal fabrication.
Skilled in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints.
Proficient in measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise fabrication.
Mechanical knowledge of tools, power tools, hand tools, machining equipment, and safety protocols.
Experience with sheet metal fabrication, ductwork production, plasma cutting, assembly work, and mechanical fabrication processes.
Familiarity with AWS standards for welding quality assurance.
Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and apply shop math effectively.
Excellent safety awareness with adherence to all safety protocols during fabrication activities.
