Job Overview

Are you a passionate and professional individual looking for part time work in helping children and families? It Takes A Village is looking for a skilled worker with experience in the helping field to work predominately non-traditional hours (late afternoons-evenings/occasional Saturday)

The position of Family Group Decision Making/Family Finding Coordinator/Facilitator requires someone with a Bachelor's degree in the helping fields and ability to work approximately 20-25 hours per week. This is a salaried position. Recent DPW Childline, PA State Police and FBI clearances are required. Further requirements are possession of valid driver's license and a vehicle.

Qualifications

Proven experience working within child protective services or child welfare systems with a strong understanding of related legal and procedural requirements
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs populations
Knowledge of adoption processes and post-permanency supports is highly desirable
Strong background in social work, child development, or related fields with experience working directly with children and families
Excellent facilitation skills combined with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse populations
Exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
