Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages (Developmental Kindergarten-5th Grade) providing support in their developmental growth, and ensuring their well-being while fostering a positive atmosphere. This is a split shift job. 6:30- 9 am and 3:30-6 pm, 25 hours a week. I am willing to consider an applicant that is able to take only one shift.

Duties

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
Provide care for school-aged children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Educate children through play-based learning, encouraging curiosity and creativity.
Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among children.
Assist with daily schedules and planning activities
Maintain a clean and organized environment
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a cohesive childcare program.
MUST SHOW UP DAILY AND ON TIME

Experience

Previous experience in babysitting, daycare, or childcare settings is preferred.
multitasking and working with large groups
Experience managing behavior in classroom settings or similar environments is an asset.
Ability to work with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities, is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children and families.
