Contractor Nation seeks a Videographer who wants to be part of a creatively charged team that is committed to growing businesses and inspiring change – for homeowners, business leaders, and colleagues. You will work on a wide variety of projects that serve our international network of more than 300 dealers and create new opportunities for our company.

As a member of our Marketing Department’s in-house video production team, you will collaborate with creatives in Motion Design, 3D Animation, Graphic Design, Illustration, Sound Design, and Music Composing.

At our unique 10-building campus, you will have access to state-of-the-art video production studios, a 250-seat theater with an A/V Control Room, and an Audio Recording / Music Studio.

Work Environment

Our full service, on-campus video studio includes Blackmagic Cameras, studio monitor, teleprompter, green screen cyc wall and full set design options. The studio lighting includes Litepanels Gemini, Space Lites and other lighting fixtures as well as an extensive grip & expendables package.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

What You Will Do

Support the team with idea development, video production, and event coverage
Collaborate with the team to develop concepts that will help our customers better connect with our products and services
Take part in pre-production planning to ensure efficient and high-quality work
Shoot and edit original content for professional pieces of training, product marketing, and live events
Manage multiple projects and deadlines under direct supervision and independently
Learn and grow - personally and professionally.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator)
Commitment to high production standards on all projects
A clear understanding of video formatting, editing, and enhancing techniques
Video production experience in a professional environment and proficiency industry-standard video, lighting and audio equipment
Well organized and willing to adapt to new project management workflows
Portfolio of work that demonstrates the range of projects you've worked on
Open to learning, dedicated to improving, committed to excellence
Knowledge of operating the following equipment a plus:
Blackmagic Ursa Mini, full range of lenses
Miller and Manfrotto tripods, Ronin Gimbals
Teleprompter
