Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Part-Time Accounting Assistant to support Owner/Broker/Accountant in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting in managing multiple priorities, maintaing accuracy, and taking ownership of their work.

The right candidate is intelligent, a quick learner, dependable, professional and committed to excellence. We are looking for someone with a stable work history who takes pride in being thorough, efficient, and highly organized.

Position Details

Part-Time, 3 days a week ( available for other days as needed)

$28-32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Long-term opportunity for the right candidate

Directly supports the Owner/Broker/Accountant

Key Responsibilites

Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Bank and account reconciliations
Payroll processing and payroll-related recordkeeping
Data entry and maintenance of multiple company and account records
QuckBooks management and reporting
Spreadsheet creation, maintenance, and analysis using Excel
Preparing professional correspondence, letters and documents
Filing, scanning, document management, and records retention

Required Qualifications

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
Minimum 3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting support experience
Stable employment history with demonstrated reliability
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
Accurate 10-key by touch
Payroll processing experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
Professional, dependable, and self-motivated

Preferred Qualities

Naturally organized and meticulous

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Comfortable managing multiple entities, accounts and projects simultaneously

Positive attitude and strong sense of accountability

Takes initiative and follows through on responsibilites
