Director of Operations / Dental Practice Administrator

Camarillo, California

Compensation: $45–55/hour + Performance Bonuses + Continuing Education + Career Growth

Are you an exceptional leader who thrives on building high-performing teams and creating extraordinary patient experiences?

Camarillo Premier Dental is seeking a Director of Operations/Dental Practice Administrator to help lead one of the fastest-growing private dental practices in Ventura County.

This is not a traditional Office Manager position.

We're looking for a leader who enjoys building systems, developing people, solving problems, improving performance, and creating an exceptional patient experience. This individual will work directly with Dr. Thomas Pham to help build a highly efficient, patient-focused practice with plans for future expansion into multiple locations.

Camarillo Premier Dental is a modern, privately owned PPO practice producing over $100,000 per month. Our mission is to provide exceptional dentistry with compassion, integrity, and an outstanding patient experience. As we continue to grow, we're building the systems, leadership, and culture needed to expand into multiple locations.

Your Responsibilities

Lead and inspire both the administrative and clinical teams.
Create an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call through treatment completion.
Improve treatment acceptance and scheduling efficiency.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including production, collections, new patient conversion, treatment acceptance, hygiene reappointment, and cancellations.
Manage staffing, scheduling, daily operations, and workflow.
Resolve patient concerns professionally and compassionately.
Coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive, supportive culture.
Recruit, onboard, and develop new employees.
Develop and improve office systems, SOPs, and operational workflows.
Partner directly with Dr. Pham to execute the long-term vision of the practice.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of management experience.
Minimum 3 years managing a dental practice preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience with PPO insurance, treatment coordination, scheduling, and dental office operations.
Comfortable tracking and improving KPIs.
Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
Excellent conflict resolution and patient communication skills.
Passionate about leadership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
