Full Job Description

Staff Auditor Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Auditor to join our audit team. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early career professional looking to develop foundational experience in financial auditing and internal controls. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting and have public accounting and audit experience. They will perform fieldwork at the client’s worksite.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare asset, liability, and equity entries by compiling and analyzing account information
Prepare tax returns
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
Answer accounting procedures by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations
Perform basic audit testing
The person in this position would need to travel to clients’ worksite about 33% of the time in order to conduct audits.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Job Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Experience: 0-3 years of public accounting and audit experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
