Join a Growing Technical Team!

CT Industrial Products is seeking a high-energy, customer-focused technical professional to join our Gas Detection Service Team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with customers, and turning repair opportunities into outstanding service experiences.

If you're mechanically inclined, comfortable with electronics, and enjoy helping customers find the best solution, we'd like to meet you. We believe in promoting from within and offer outstanding opportunities for advancement into Technical Sales, Field Service, and Management.

What You'll Do

Evaluate customer equipment and prepare accurate repair and service quotations.
Review technician findings and recommend repair or replacement options.
Follow up on repair estimates to help customers make informed decisions.
Provide technical support by phone, email, and Microsoft Teams.
Answer customer questions regarding gas detection equipment, repairs, calibration, and service.
Identify replacement parts using schematics, parts lists, and manufacturer documentation.
Coordinate with service technicians, purchasing, shipping, and customer service to ensure projects move smoothly from quote to completion.
Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and timely communication.
Assist with inside sales opportunities, product recommendations, and service agreements.
Maintain accurate service records, quotations, and customer communications.
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of portable and fixed gas detection equipment.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

Experience repairing electronic or electro-mechanical equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills and a basic understanding of electrical circuits.
Experience using a digital multimeter (Fluke meter) and electronic test equipment.
Knowledge of small parts, wiring, hand tools, and mechanical assembly.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, parts lists, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office.
The ability to organize multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive, energetic attitude with a passion for helping customers.
Professional appearance and a clean driving record.
