Associate Chiropractor | Pediatric + Neurodevelopmental Practice | Mentorship-to-Ownership Opportunity

Coastal Family Wellness | Pacifica, CA

Coastal Family Wellness is looking for a heart-centered, growth-minded chiropractor who is passionate about working with children, families, and neurodivergent kids.

This is not a standard associate position.

This is an opportunity for the right doctor to come in, learn the full clinical model, be mentored directly by Dr. Lisa Walsh, and potentially grow into a long-term leadership or ownership role within the practice.

Our practice specializes in pediatric, prenatal, and neurodevelopmental chiropractic care with a strong focus on nervous system regulation, primitive reflex integration, sensory processing, posture, proprioception, vestibular development, and family support. We work with children who may be struggling with regulation, focus, sleep, sensory challenges, developmental delays, anxiety, retained reflexes, or simply feeling “stuck” despite parents trying everything.

We are looking for a doctor who wants to deeply understand this work, not just perform adjustments.

The Right Fit

You may be a great fit if you are:

A licensed chiropractor, or soon-to-be licensed chiropractor, with a strong interest in pediatrics, neurodevelopment, and family wellness

Passionate about helping children and families find answers

Open to mentorship, training, and learning a very specific clinical model

Comfortable working with neurodivergent children and children with big emotions, sensory needs, or behavioral challenges

Warm, grounded, compassionate, and excellent with parents

Willing to grow clinically, professionally, and personally

Interested in becoming a long-term part of the practice, with the possibility of eventually stepping into a larger leadership or ownership role

What You’ll Learn

This position includes hands-on mentorship in:

Pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care

Neurodevelopmental assessment and care planning

Primitive reflex assessment and integration

INSiGHT scans and nervous system interpretation

Posture, proprioception, vestibular, ocular, and cognitive developmental phases

How to communicate findings to parents clearly and confidently

How to build care plans that support nervous system regulation

How to work with children who have sensory, behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges

How to lead families through a structured clinical process

You will have the opportunity to learn the systems, language, clinical reasoning, and family-centered approach that Dr. Lisa has developed over years of working with children and families.

About the Practice

Coastal Family Wellness is a pediatric and family chiropractic office located near the coast in Pacifica, California. Our work goes beyond traditional chiropractic care. We look at the child as a whole system and help families understand how the nervous system, spine, brainstem, sensory input, reflexes, and development are all connected.

This is a unique opportunity for a doctor who wants to be part of something meaningful, growing, and deeply impactful.

Responsibilities

Provide chiropractic care for children, families, and prenatal patients

Participate in pediatric and neurodevelopmental assessments

Help support care plans, progress checks, and parent education

Build strong relationships with families

Document care appropriately and professionally

Learn and follow the clinical systems used in the practice

Support the overall mission and growth of Coastal Family Wellness

Potentially participate in intensives, workshops, retreats, or educational programs as the role grows

Qualifications

Doctor of Chiropractic degree

Licensed in California, or eligible for California licensure

Strong interest in pediatrics, prenatal care, neurodevelopment, or family wellness

Excellent communication skills

Willingness to be mentored and trained

Comfortable working with children and families

Pediatric certification or additional training is a plus, but not required for the right doctor

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience, availability, and fit. Structure may include base pay, performance-based growth opportunities, and future leadership or ownership discussions for the right long-term candidate.
