Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Performing Arts Teachers to join our team! If you can teach

-Musical Theater Instructors

-Vocal/Musical Direction

-Piano Teachers (group and private)

-Voice Teachers (group and private)

-Guitar Teachers (group and private)

-Dance Teachers (Musical Theater Jazz, Advanced Tap, Ballet and Jazz)

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music and theater education and experience working with both adults and children. We have various roles to fill for our Spring and Summer programming they include , one-on-one lessons for either piano, voice, guitar, woodwinds and more! Musical Theater/Drama instruction, dance/choreography teachers and vocal coaching. We are also looking for teachers who might be interested in directing shows in our youth theater organization as well as musical direction.

Our goal is to foster a love of performing arts, while helping them develop their skills in a supportive and safe environment.

What we offer: a fun place to work with access to a theater and a great rehearsal space! Flexible scheduling and a supportive admin team to help with private class billing and scheduling. We have a built in client list with a wait list! We also have a great recital/performance space. Great location with plenty of free parking and opportunities to musical direct for the school theater shows.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
For Music Instructors: teach music theory, and practical skills to students of varying ages and skill levels.
For Theater Instructors: teach and direct theater class along with overseeing the production and possible musical direction.
For Dance Instructors: teach dance at various levels, choreographing for children's productions also a plus.
Utilize behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
Incorporate creative activities other artistic expressions into the curriculum.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth.
Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns.
Participate in school events, performances, and community outreach programs to promote music education.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in an educational setting or private lesson setting
Background in music education, theater arts or related field is desired; additional skills in musical and Artistic directing a plus
Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and schedule keeping.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
