Senior Help Desk Engineer

Datalink Networks, a National Managed Service Provider is growing very rapidly due to our exceptional client focus and high quality MSP engineering team.

We are a leading consulting and engineering firm, based in the Santa Clarita Valley that sells technology solutions to Corporations, Healthcare, Financial, K-12 schools and State and local Government, throughout the United States.

Datalink Networks is a Microsoft Solutions Partner, Dell and HPE Partner, and leading Cyber Security consultant. We market and sell engineered solutions from the largest technology companies in America, including Microsoft, HPE, Barracuda Networks, Fortinet and Cisco.

We are seeking a highly qualified Helpdesk Engineer LII to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, delivering outstanding technical support across a range of systems, infrastructure, and applications designed to meet their unique needs. Your responsibilities will include addressing and resolving complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 Helpdesk staff, ensuring that all client concerns are handled efficiently and professionally.

Required Skills :

Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email

· Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
· Work patiently to help client through the problem-solving process
· Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
· Provide accurate information on IT products or services
· Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
· Follow-up and update customer status and information
· Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
Advise clients on more advanced assessments, and engineering services delivered by our Project team

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk or Service Desk.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS), common SMB infrastructure, and group policy.
Hands on experience with email security tools.
Hands on experience with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Experience with providing remote support.
Strong documentation skills and experience in creating knowledge base articles.
Strong knowledge of Windows troubleshooting and maintenance.
Ability to travel on-site to client sites on a weekly basis.
Strong interpersonal, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
Knowledge and experience using remote access tools.
Effective time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
