Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Motorcycle Service Advisor and become the vital link between our valued customers and our expert service technicians. In this energetic role, you will leverage your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to ensure every motorcycle receives top-tier maintenance and repairs. Your enthusiasm for motorcycles combined with your ability to communicate clearly will drive customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the automotive repair industry while sharing your passion for motorcycles.

Duties

Greet customers warmly, listen actively to their motorcycle service needs, and provide expert guidance on maintenance and repair options
Write detailed service estimates using estimating software, ensuring transparency and accuracy for each job
Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, or transmission diagnostics to maximize customer value
Coordinate with mechanics and technicians to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion of services
Communicate clearly with clients about vehicle status, repair procedures, and costs, maintaining excellent client communication standards
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently at the point of sale
Maintain detailed service records, including vehicle history, repair notes, and parts used, utilizing computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools when necessary

Skills

Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar dealership or automotive service environment, preferably with motorcycle or auto repair background
Strong mechanical knowledge of motorcycles and familiarity with automotive diagnostics, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts, air brakes, and oil changes
Proficiency in estimating software and auto service management systems to prepare accurate repair estimates and invoices
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
Experience in upselling services while maintaining integrity and customer trust
Basic understanding of collision repair processes and automotive repair procedures
Valid motorcycle endorsement with a clean driving record
