Job Description: Private Practice Therapist (W-2 Employee)

Locations:

Locations: Coral Springs Boca Raton Delray Beach Palm Aire Wellington Pembroke Pines

(In-Person Only, must be available afternoon & evenings)

About Genesis Counseling

Genesis Counseling is a thriving, values-driven mental health practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families. We are seeking two experienced and passionate Licensed Therapists to join our expanding team at our Palm Aire and Wellington offices. This W-2 position offers the stability of employment, full administrative support, and comprehensive benefits within a collaborative and growth-oriented culture. Genesis also offers clear pathways for leadership development, including opportunities to step into supervisory, mentorship, and clinical leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and couples: Address emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns using developmentally appropriate, client-centered interventions.
Utilize Evidence-Based Approaches: Incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, and other appropriate modalities.
Conduct Assessments & Treatment Planning: Develop individualized, strength-based treatment plans tailored to each client.
Maintain Clinical Documentation: Complete timely, accurate, and compliant records per Genesis Counseling standards.
Participate in Team Meetings & Case Consultations: Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
Active Florida License (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT).
Experience working with multiple age groups (children, teens, adults, couples)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation & Schedule

Clinicians are paid based on a percentage of the contracted rate of insurance for sessions completed.
Full-Time: 25 billable client hours per week (eligible for full benefits).
Part-Time: 15 billable client hours per week (partial benefits eligibility).
$2,000 Hiring Bonus available (Full-time position only)
