Full Job Description

Join Our Leadership Team

Hi Pro is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization's financial operations and help drive the company's continued growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will provide financial guidance, oversee accounting functions, manage forecasting and budgeting activities, and support long-term business planning across our multi-state transportation and logistics operations.

What You'll Do

Lead all financial, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions.
Develop financial strategies that support company growth and operational excellence.
Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, financing arrangements, and capital planning.
Ensure the timely preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with GAAP.
Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team and ownership.
Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
Direct accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial controls.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
Manage capital asset acquisition, depreciation, and disposition processes.
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team.
Support audits, compliance requirements, and organizational risk management initiatives.

Leadership Responsibilities

The CFO oversees the Accounting Department, including positions such as:

Controller
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Fuel Analyst
Bookkeeper

This role works closely with department leaders throughout the organization to improve performance, monitor budgets, and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Advanced proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and influence strategic business decisions.

Preferred

MBA or Master's degree.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
Experience in transportation, logistics, trucking, or fleet operations.
Experience with Quickbooks or enterprise financial systems.
