We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electromechanical equipment at customer facilities throughout Los Angeles County and beyond.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned field service professional who enjoys solving technical problems, working independently, traveling to customer sites, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a travel-intensive field service role and can confidently represent the company while working directly with customers, engineers, maintenance teams, and plant leadership.
What You'll Do
- Install, service, and repair industrial food processing machinery at customer sites.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and operational issues in the field.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems involving wiring, voltage, motors, sensors, and related components.
- Complete detailed service reports, maintain accurate documentation and spare parts inventory.
- Utilize laptops, mobile devices, email, and ERP systems to manage service activities.
- Submit expense reports and maintain accurate travel records.
- Communicate professionally with customer operators, maintenance personnel, engineers, and management as well as with internal domestic and international teams.
- Manage travel schedules independently while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements while working in industrial and food production environments.
What You'll Need:
- High School diploma, technical degree, trade school certification, military technical training, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar travel-based maintenance or technical service role, preferably in packaging, food processing, manufacturing, automation, or industrial equipment.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components such as AC/DC servo drives, wiring, voltage troubleshooting, sensors and PLC’s.
- Ability to read diagrams, schematics, and technical documents.
- Proven success working independently on customer sites while managing extensive travel.
- Excellent customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in a variety of food processing environments that may involve strong odors, noise, wet conditions, temperature extremes, and required PPE.
- Stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

- Hourly Rate: $32 to $35 per hour (guaranteed 40 hrs/week plus overtime)
