Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for guest relations, and the ability to manage seating arrangements efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure that tables are filled appropriately to maximize service efficiency.
- Assist guests with any inquiries regarding the menu or restaurant services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service for all guests.
- Handle reservations and walk-in guests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to manage waitlists and table assignments effectively.
- Address guest concerns promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A proactive approach to helping guests and enhancing their dining experience.
