Accounting & Operations Coordinator

Tempe, AZ · Full-Time · $55,000–$68,000 per year

Delta Wye Electric is a family-owned industrial electrical contractor that has been delivering complex electrical solutions to manufacturers, data centers, and industrial clients since 1980. With offices in Tempe, AZ and Anaheim, CA, we are in the middle of our strongest growth period in company history and are looking to add a detail-oriented, organized professional to our accounting team.

The Opportunity

We are hiring an Accounting & Operations Coordinator to join us at our Tempe headquarters. This is a fully on-site role that keeps work moving from sales through estimating, operations, and accounting. You will own the high-volume billing and accounts payable work and serve as the process gatekeeper on job setup and the handoffs between departments, so nothing falls through the cracks between the office and the field.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-obsessed, and energized by being the person who keeps everything connected and on track.

Key Responsibilities

Process accounts payable end to end: receive, code, and post vendor invoices, run the Remarcable invoice-matching workflow into Acumatica, and post and reconcile Ramp transactions
Produce contract and T&M (time-and-material) invoices on schedule, and coordinate with operations to confirm billing readiness
Set up and verify jobs in Acumatica, including accurate job-site addresses, cost coding, and project details
Own the handoff from sales to estimating to operations to accounting, confirming each package is complete and accurate before it moves forward
Catch and resolve errors early, before they reach the field or the customer
Attend the weekly job-cost meeting as the link between accounting, operations, and sales
Support collections and AR follow-up as needed
Help identify and document process improvements that make billing and AP faster and cleaner

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in accounts payable, billing, bookkeeping, or office and accounting coordination
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Comfortable managing high volume and shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to work across departments
Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
Experience in construction or a specialty trade contractor, especially with contract and T&M billing
Experience with Acumatica, NetSuite, or a comparable ERP
Comfort using modern AI tools to work faster and more accurately
