About the Role

Are you a compassionate, organized, and reliable individual committed to supporting others in their recovery journey? Healing Human Services is seeking a dedicated Live-In Sober Living House Manager to foster a safe, accountable, and recovery-focused environment. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in our residents' lives by providing the structure and stability necessary for long-term recovery.

Your Impact

As the House Manager, you will serve as a role model, demonstrating healthy communication, responsibility, and consistency. While this is not a clinical role, you will be the backbone of our house operations, ensuring that the environment remains a positive, sober space for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

Create a Supportive Culture: Promote a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused home environment by encouraging residents to engage in treatment, employment, and daily programming.
Maintain Accountability: Monitor compliance with house expectations, including curfews, chores, meeting attendance, and sober living requirements.
Manage House Operations: Conduct resident intakes, perform regular house walkthroughs to ensure safety and cleanliness, and manage daily chores.
Ensure Safety: Monitor for safety risks, facilitate drug and alcohol testing as required, and follow emergency procedures when necessary.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records regarding house incidents, resident concerns, and rule adherence.

What You Bring

Experience: Previous experience in recovery, sober living, behavioral health, peer support, or a related field is preferred.
Strong Leadership: The ability to set clear boundaries while remaining supportive and respectful.
Reliability: You are organized, calm under pressure, and capable of working independently.
Commitment: Ability to reside on-site 100% of the time, 365 days a year.1
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with residents and leadership.
Certifications: Peer Support Certification or CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (or the ability to obtain them).
