Full Job Description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Traveling Project Manager (Hyperscale Data Centers) in Tempe, AZ for a direct hire opportunity with our client. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States.

Job Type: Direct Placement
Pay: $100,000 to $130,000 Per Year BOE

Responsibilities:

Project Oversight: Manage all phases of hyperscale data center builds, ensuring compliance with company standards for safety, quality, and financial performance.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and develop project staff; handle HR issues and performance feedback.
Financial Management: Develop budgets, track costs, ensure profitability, and manage resources efficiently.
Customer Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, manage expectations, and implement account improvements.
Operations: Oversee staffing, materials, implementation, installation, and daily project execution.
Design & Scope: Prepare scopes of work, manage design changes, and ensure deliverables are met.
Reporting: Track project metrics and report progress to leadership.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience in building hyperscale data centers (not just managing them post-build).
Travel: Often a 100% travel position.
Skills: Strong leadership, financial acumen, project management fundamentals (WBS, communication plans), HR management, and customer service.

Physical Requirements:

Must be aware of OSHA safety standards
Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises
May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.
Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending
May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 Per Year, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
