We are seeking a qualified individual with a mortgage background to join our expanding organization and take flight with Altitude!

Job Summary:

This Processor provides quality loan processing, reviews files for compliance to company standards and ensures completeness for submission to Underwriting. The Processor is also responsible for assisting in the collection of necessary documentation throughout the loan process.

Base salary is $50,000 - $60,000 PLUS bonus opportunities.

Principal Responsibilities:

Review file for completeness and accuracy
Verify accuracy of system input
Analyze loan file for program applicability
Order all applicable documentation to include, but not limited to; appraisals, prelims, CPL, wire instructions, credit supplements, payoff statements, EOI, tax transcripts, VOE’s, VOR’s, flood certifications, fraud reports, SSN verification, and UCDP’s
Utilize FHA and VA websites to order case numbers, obtain CAIVRS, check the LDP & GSA list, and order VA Certificate of Eligibility
Obtain and verify all information on AUS results for accuracy
Prepare needs list for LO/LOA of any missing documentation or concerns
As documentation is received, review for accuracy and request any corrections or updates needed
Follow up to ensure all required and requested documentation is received
Review necessary documentation, such as income and asset documentation, credit report, verifications, appraisal report, preliminary title report, etc.
Verify with LO/LOA closing figures prior to submission
Prepare and submit files in accordance with company standards in a timely manner
Provide status updates to LO/LOA
Coordinate all aspects of submission to underwriting, documentation requests and satisfaction of closing/funding conditions
Review initial CD to ensure accuracy and work with closing/funding, loan officer, and title companies to resolve any discrepancies prior to closing as needed
Prioritize workflow to ensure time sensitive files are handled in appropriate and logical order
Assure compliance with all regulatory and governmental standards, guidelines, rules, and regulations, with all regulatory authorities, federal and state ordinances, and administrative regulations and statutes
Review loan approvals with LO/LOA and obtain conditions

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team, with effective time-management and communication practices
Working familiarity and knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA and conventional loan guidelines
Working knowledge of current mortgage lending compliance and regulatory requirements
Effective organizational skills to identify and prioritize tasks and deadlines, both day-to-day and long-term
Ability to learn and utilize various in-house technical systems and programs to provide optimal support to loan officers and various support staff
Superior customer service skills a priority
Willingness to learn new responsibilities and coordinate several assignments while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor
Demonstrated abilities in the areas of multi-tasking, problem solving, and analysis
Must be organized and responsible and able to use good judgment

Experience:

2+ years experience processing conventional, VA, USDA and FHA loans
