Licensed Acupuncturist – Coverage Position

Position: Licensed Acupuncturist (Coverage)Dates: September 22 – October 22, 2026Schedule: 2 days per weekLocation: Two Manhattan locations

Wall Street Location

fulton street/ rector street (3min from station)

Hours: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

We are looking for a New York Licensed Acupuncturist to provide temporary coverage at our acupuncture clinic from September 22 through October 22, 2026.

Qualifications

● NY State Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.)

● Current and active acupuncture license

● Professional, reliable, and patient-centered

● Comfortable treating musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, women’s health, and general wellness concerns

● Able to independently evaluate patients, provide acupuncture treatments, and complete clinical documentation

Position Details

● Temporary coverage position

● 2 days per week

● Two Manhattan locations

● Wall Street: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

● September 22 – October 22, 2026

● Additional details regarding the second location and compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates.

Licensed Acupuncturist (Coverage Position starting Sep. 22- Oct 22. 2026)

Responsibilities

Perform acupuncture treatments targeting acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and general wellness needs.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to develop effective treatment plans.
Utilize advanced techniques such as herbal medicine application, trigger point therapy, and aseptic methods to ensure safe and effective care.
Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient treatment strategies.
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) documenting diagnoses, treatment progress, and patient responses.
Educate patients on pain management techniques, physiology, anatomy, and the benefits of acupuncture for long-term health improvement.
Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and follow all safety protocols during direct patient care.

Qualifications

Valid license as a Licensed Acupuncturist with certification in acupuncture
Proven experience in pain medicine, acute pain management, and trigger point therapy.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice.
Demonstrated ability to perform physical examinations and conduct patient assessments effectively.
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for electronic health records management.
Excellent client communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient service.
Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and safety protocols.
