Full Job Description

Litigation Paralegal

Fort Lee, NJ

Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi, P.C. is seeking highly experience Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal to join our growing team in our Fort Lee and Hackensack NJ offices.

This position is a full-time, salaried position with competitive pay and benefits.

High Competence in Case Management System (Filevine Preffered)

The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for the coordination of litigation, including:
Drafting of pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.

Drafting and maintaining discovery and trial preparation.
Preparing discovery responses and other documents for trial or hearings.
Preparing for trials or hearings including in assisting in preparing the Pre-Trial Information Exchange, inclusive of witness lists, expert lists, scheduling witnesses, obtaining court orders, preparing discovery materials, and preparing for hearings.
Managing client files by organizing client records and responding to client requests.
Preparing for trials or hearings by organizing client files and responding to client requests.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in legal studies with paralegal certificate; an equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least 3 years full time experience as a paralegal in a plaintiff's injury law firm.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision. Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and adapt quickly to meet the needs of the firm.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to learn new programs quickly.
Ability to train other staff and supervise on case management system( Filevine Preffered).
Bilingual Spanish or Korean speaking preferred.
