Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a HEAVILY EXPERIENCED and ACCOMPLISHED Spa Director to help build and lead our luxury wellness facility located in the heart of the Upper East Side. Again, you MUST HAVE extensive experience in this position. Do NOT apply if you are not currently a spa director.

The ideal candidate will oversee staff recruitment, daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive business growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for the beauty industry. The Spa Director will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming environment that promotes relaxation and well-being for our clients.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily spa operations
Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff members
Manage scheduling, shift management, and team management
Oversee customer service standards to ensure client satisfaction and retention
Handle inventory management
Implement marketing strategies to promote services and retail sales
Oversee POS systems, pricing, and sales management activities
Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance skills and performance
Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations
Utilize communication skills to liaise with clients, staff, vendors, and management effectively

Skills

Proven management experience in an upstart spa. Supervising experience required
Strong leadership qualities with excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be upbeat, positive, and motivating.
Proficiency in marketing and sales management techniques
Experience with inventory management and POS systems
Exceptional customer service skills coupled with phone etiquette and communication skills
Ability to train & develop staff effectively while fostering a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, pricing strategies, and retail sales techniques

This position offers an exciting opportunity to build and lead a vibrant team in delivering outstanding client experiences. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership excellence combined with operational expertise in managing a busy spa environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
