Sales & Customer Service Associate - Electronics / Tech Retail

Location: Fanelli Boys, Inc. - Parkersburg, WV
Job Type: Full-Time (32–39 hours/week)
Pay: Minimum starting at $14/hr + commission on sales, repairs & accessories
Average Earnings: $14 - $17/hr with commission

About the Role

Do you love working with people and have a passion for tech, gadgets, and solving problems for people? Are you confident with sales and comfortable using social media platforms like Facebook Marketplace?

We’re hiring a Sales & Customer Service Associate who will be the friendly face customers see when they walk in, and the person who helps them find the best solution: whether it’s a case, a screen protector, or a great deal on a pre-owned device. We're looking for a solutions specialist, someone who will do everything they can to find the best solution to any problem for a customer.

While you’ll be trained in basic repairs, this role is primarily focused on sales, customer interaction, and online marketing, especially posting and managing listings on Facebook Marketplace, answering and placing phone calls to updates customers on the status of their repairs, and selling pre-owned devices and new accessories.

What You’ll Do

Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone
Promote and sell accessories, pre-owned phones, tablets, and computers
Guide customers on whether to repair or replace their device
Post and manage sales listings on Facebook Marketplace
Search and negotiate purchases for resale
Track sales and inventory using POS systems
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment
Assist with maintaining inventory, keeping the store stocked on accessories and pre-owned devices for sale

What We’re Looking For

Strong sales mindset with solid customer service skills
Experience with, or willing to learn using Facebook Marketplace or other resale platforms
Friendly, reliable, and great with communication
Flexible availability including some weekends and holidays
Must have reliable transportation
Willing to also work at our Marietta, OH location as needed / during training

Preferred (But Not Required)

Retail, electronics, or phone sales experience
Familiarity with smartphones, tablets, and accessories
Background in tech, repairs, or general troubleshooting
Knowledge of POS systems and basic inventory tracking
