Ideal position for a Registered Nurse with a background in Long Term Care and a passion for education!
CommuniCare Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as RN CNA Instructor for Worthington Healthcare Center. If you want to share your nursing knowledge and abilities to help us build the most skilled, professional, and dedicated nursing team in the State of West Virginia, then we are looking for YOU!
This position will conduct CNA training classes at multiple facilities in the area.

Do you have what it takes to be our RN CNA Instructor?
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a current license as a RN in the state where the center is located.
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
1 year of LTC experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As RN CNA Instructor, you will:

Coordinate/conduct Nurse Aide training classes and testing and maintain all required documentation.
Develop materials, manuals, and teaching aides and maintain resource library
Coordinate State-mandated training hours for all CNA’s
Participate in QI meetings to ensure staff training in identified areas of weakness.
Develop, implement, and maintain an effective orientation program.
Conduct/coordinate skills testing.
