Full Job Description

Position Overview

Permasteel is seeking a Social Media & Affiliate Coordinator with hands-on e-commerce experience to support our creator, affiliate, and social media marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who understands the full e-commerce customer journey, from awareness and acquisition to conversion, retention, and long-term customer engagement.

The right candidate should be highly responsive, organized, creative, and comfortable communicating with both internal teammates and external creators or affiliates through DMs, messaging platforms, email, and mass communication tools.

Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of their knowledge, experience, prior work, and level of contribution during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

Affiliate & Creator Marketing

Support the planning, launch, and management of affiliate and creator campaigns.
Assist with creator and affiliate outreach, onboarding, communication, and relationship management.
Coordinate campaign assets, content requirements, posting timelines, tracking links, and discount codes.
Communicate with creators and affiliates through DMs, messenger platforms, email, and other mass communication tools.
Help manage creator community initiatives, outreach campaigns, and ongoing engagement efforts.
Track campaign progress from outreach to content creation, conversion, and performance review.

Social Media & Content Coordination

Support social media campaign execution across relevant platforms.
Help develop content ideas with strong hooks, clear messaging, and effective calls to action.
Monitor social media trends, creator activity, competitor campaigns, and shopping behavior.
Coordinate posts, collaborations, campaigns, and creator-generated content.
Demonstrate an understanding of how social content supports brand awareness, traffic, conversion, and customer retention.

Creative Support

Assist with shooting and editing product, lifestyle, creator, and campaign-related photos and videos.
Create and edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, affiliate campaigns, website use, advertising, internal projects, and other marketing purposes.
Support content production needs, including basic setup, filming, editing, formatting, resizing, and preparing creative assets for different platforms.
Help maintain a consistent brand look, tone, and message across visual content.

e-Commerce Marketing Support

Apply knowledge of the e-commerce funnel, including acquisition, conversion, lifecycle retention, and customer engagement.
Understand key marketing concepts such as branding, PPC, SEO, AIO, DTC, B2B, and B2C.
Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing initiatives, campaign reporting, and execution.
Maintain organized records of creator communications, campaign performance, tools used, and project status.

Qualifications

Required Experience

Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in an e-commerce business environment.
Hands-on experience creating or supporting affiliate, creator, influencer, or social media campaigns.
Understanding of the customer journey from acquisition to conversion and retention.
Experience coordinating outreach, content generation, campaign execution, and performance tracking.
Strong communication skills and responsiveness with both internal teammates and external partners.
Excellent work ethic and ability to work onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in Pomona, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

Recent, demonstrable success with social media posts, campaigns, creator collaborations, or affiliate initiatives.
Ability to clearly explain your level of contribution to past campaigns or projects.
Experience managing a creator community or supporting creator outreach initiatives.
Daily user of social media platforms with a strong understanding of current content trends.
Active online shopper with practical awareness of the e-commerce buying experience.
Familiarity with common social media, affiliate, e-commerce, communication, and analytics tools.
Ability to demonstrate skilled use of AI tools for chat/text support, image handling, and video content generation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on e-commerce marketer who understands how social media, creator partnerships, affiliate campaigns, content creation, and customer behavior work together to drive business growth. This person should be responsive, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced onsite environment, and capable of managing communication with both teammates and external creators professionally.

Please do not apply without at least 3 years of professional e-commerce experience. However, candidates with less than 3 years of professional experience may be considered if they can demonstrate extremely relevant and recent success in social media, affiliate marketing, creator campaigns, creative content production, or e-commerce growth initiatives.
