Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A travel imaging assignment here offers an exceptional opportunity to learn from a robust echo department, experience a variety of hospital practices, and gain insight from diverse, seasoned professionals.

Details:

Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Every other weekend required (4 shifts per week)

Working in a 145-bed community hospital, you’ll split 10-15 echo studies daily with other technicians, focusing exclusively on adult patients. Exposure to advanced diagnostic equipment (GE E90 and E95), intraprocedural TTE and TEE at bedside, and involvement in probe processing will allow you to further develop specialized skills valuable in any healthcare setting.

Qualifications:

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS – ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS – CCI) credential (RDCS highly preferred)
1-2 years of experience, ideally in a hospital environment
Strongly prefer TEE and probe processing experience
Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities
Experience with adult echo, GE E90/E95 preferred
Must wear navy blue scrubs (provided by hospital)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality general ultrasound and cardiac imaging procedures (echo studies) for adult patients
Collaborate with other echo techs in a team-based, supportive department
Participate in intraprocedural TTE and TEE at bedside
Ensure the highest standards of patient care, documentation, and probe processing
Work flexibly with a rotating weekend schedule in a 7-day-week department
