Full Job Description

Distribution company located in Bergen County to manager day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations-Preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis-Supervise and support a small accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight. Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards, Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring activities. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers during audits and reporting cycles
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
QuickBooks desktop and Microsoft Office applications, Excel, SAP
