Optometrist (OD)

Great opportunity with practice located in the heart of Sunset Pare, Brooklyn. This practice provides a variety of exams including approximately 50 percent medical.

Position Highlights:

Full Scope Practice – Approximately 50/50 split between Comprehensive and Medical Optometry
Diverse Patient Base – Ages 5 and up, offering a rewarding mix of pediatric and adult care
Manageable Patient Volume – Averaging 15–20 patients per day with full technical support
Specialty Services – Including dry eye treatment, myopia management, and a variety of specialized exams
Convenient Parking – A dedicated parking space is provided
Competitive Compensation – Per diem of $650–$700 per day
Benefits Package – Available for full-time employees

Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD)

Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
Diagnose disease and vision disorders
Counsel patients regarding their vision needs

Requirements of the Optometrist (OD)

Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
License to practice in the state of NY
Excellent clinical and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a team environment
