HiveASMBLD (www.hiveasmbld.com)
HiveASMBLD is a building technology company pioneering a new era of residential construction. We combine 3D printing with prefabricated components to deliver homes that are faster to build, more energy-efficient, and durable than anything produced by conventional framing. Our vertically integrated 3D printing platform – from low-carbon materials to robotic systems to design software – gives us control over quality, cost, and execution at each step. We're not a concept company: we currently have homes in the ground, including Zuri Gardens, an 80 unit affordable 3D-printed housing community in South Houston, and Gulf Shore Estates, a 26-home coastal community in San Leon. Our system reduces labor and material waste on the structural shell by 30%+ compared to stick-built construction. HiveASMBLD is growing rapidly through an expanding project pipeline and certified builder partners, with active construction in three states and counting.Job Summary
The B2B Sales Manager will own HiveASMBLD's builder and developer sales function — building our pipeline, closing partnerships, and establishing the sales infrastructure to support rapid growth. This role works directly alongside the co-founders and is accountable for revenue outcomes, with stock incentives. The ideal candidate is a proven closer who has sold high-value solutions to business customers, thrives in a fast-moving startup environment, and can credibly represent a technical product to clients in production homebuilding, construction materials, and real estate development. This is an early and high-impact hire with a clear path to sales leadership as the team scales.
Core Responsibilities
Builder Sales & Pipeline Development
Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting to signed partnership agreement — for HiveASMBLD's dual sales channels: Construction Services (B2B direct) and Certified Builder Partners (B2B partnerships).
- Identify, qualify, and pursue potential customers in production homebuilding, construction materials, and real estate development through direct outreach, referrals, and industry events.
- Conduct product presentations and site tours tailored to each builder's market, project type, and cost structure.
- Develop proposals and ROI analyses that translate HiveASMBLD's technology advantages into builder economics: cost per square foot, build cycle time, labor savings, and long-term performance.
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline in CRM with accurate forecasting and regular reporting to leadership.
- Provide monthly reports to HiveASMBLD leadership along with weekly updates.
- Drive 8–12 signed builder partnership agreements in Year 1, with a growing pipeline to support multi-market expansion in Year 2.
Market Development & Brand Presence
Expand HiveASMBLD's visibility and credibility within the homebuilder and real estate development community.
- Represent HiveASMBLD at industry events, builder association meetings, and trade shows (NAHB, TEXO, Texas Association of Builders, and regional homebuilder events).
- Develop referral relationships with general contractors, land developers, and housing finance professionals.
- Partner with the co-CEOs and marketing team on case studies, outreach campaigns, and content that supports pipeline generation.
- Capture market intelligence on competing technologies, builder objections, and market opportunities to inform product and GTM strategy.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with current and prospective builder and developer partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for builder prospects from first outreach through deal close and project onboarding.
- Coordinate closely with the design, engineering, and project delivery teams to scope projects accurately and set appropriate client expectations.
- Nurture warm relationships within the existing builder network and co-op partnership pipeline.
Process & Playbook Building
Establish the sales infrastructure that will support HiveASMBLD's growth beyond the current stage.
- Build and document the HiveASMBLD sales playbook: outreach sequences, objection handling, proposal templates, and deal stage definitions.
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene (HubSpot or Salesforce) to ensure pipeline accuracy, activity logging, and forecast reliability.
- Lay the groundwork for future sales hires; this role is expected to evolve into a sales leadership position as the team grows.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, construction management, or a related field
- 4–6+ years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding quota
- Full-cycle sales experience: prospecting, discovery, presentation, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Experience selling to construction, real estate, or adjacent industries preferred; ability to quickly master technical and complex products is essential
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred); disciplined pipeline management and forecasting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present credibly to field operators and executive decision-makers
- Comfortable in a startup environment — you create structure, not wait for it
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple prospects and projects simultaneously
- Existing relationships within the Texas homebuilder, developer, or housing finance community are a strong plus
- Based in or willing to relocate to Houston, TX; regular travel to project sites and builder offices required
Benefits
- Competitive compensation package combining base salary, uncapped commission, and stock options, structured to reward performance and align with company growth
- Clear career trajectory — this role is expected to grow into Sales Director or Head of Sales as the team scales; you are building a function, not filling a seat
- Direct access to the founding team; your input will shape pricing strategy, partnership models, and the product roadmap
- Opportunity to work on one of the most pressing challenges in the country — housing affordability — with technology that is already producing results in the field
- High-visibility, high-impact role at an early-stage company with significant growth ahead and real asymmetric upside
