Full-Time | $19.00–$22.00/hour | Pensacola, FL

Busy dermatology office seeking an experienced medical front desk professional for a full-time in-person position handling both check-in and check-out responsibilities.

We are looking for someone with prior medical office experience who is comfortable with insurance verification, copays, deductibles, scheduling, phones, and patient communication in a fast-paced specialty practice.

Pensacola Dermatology by Amy Watson, M.D. is a privately owned dermatology practice that has served the Pensacola area for over 20 years. We are looking for someone dependable, professional, and seeking a stable long-term position with an established team.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM – approximately 4:45 PM
Friday: 7:45 AM – approximately 1:00 PM
No nights or weekends

Responsibilities

Patient check-in and check-out
Insurance verification and referrals
Collect copays, deductibles, and coinsurance
Answer high-volume phones
Schedule appointments and procedures
Assist patients with insurance, billing, and scheduling questions
Electronic and text-based patient communication
Maintain efficient patient flow at front desk
Work closely with front desk team and providers

Qualifications

Medical office or medical front desk experience preferred
Understanding of insurance verification, copays, deductibles, referrals, and prior authorizations
Comfortable discussing financial responsibility with patients
Ability to multitask in a busy medical office
Professional communication and strong organizational skills
Experience with EHR systems preferred
