Automotive F&I Manager – Come Grow With Us

We’re growing. We’re selling more cars. And we’re looking for another great person to join the ride.

Scherer Automotive continues to grow our presence and sales volume in the Peoria market, and we are looking for a talented Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager who wants to be part of where we’re headed.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the car business, likes to compete, and wants to work in a dealership where there are cars to sell, deals to work, and real opportunity to make money.

We aren't looking for someone to simply sit in the box and process paperwork.

We’re looking for a producer.

Someone who enjoys working with customers, knows how to close, takes pride in their numbers, and understands how important a great F&I department is to a successful dealership.

The Opportunity

Our business in the Peoria market continues to grow, and so does our sales volume. More volume means more opportunity — and we want an F&I Manager who is excited about taking advantage of it.

You'll have the opportunity to:

Work with a strong and growing flow of retail customers
Maximize F&I gross and product penetration
Present finance and protection products in a way customers understand and value
Work with a variety of lenders to structure and secure deals
Partner with our sales managers and sales team to keep deals moving
Build relationships with customers instead of simply processing transactions
Take ownership of your performance and your paycheck
Help us continue building something special in the Peoria automotive market

Who We're Looking For

You probably already know if this describes you.

You don't need someone constantly pushing you to perform because you expect it from yourself.

Automotive dealership experience is required. Previous F&I experience is strongly preferred, but we're interested in great automotive people with strong sales ability, a track record of success, and the drive to take the next step.

Understands the importance of both gross and product penetration
Can balance profitability with a great customer experience
