Description:

SIGNING BONUS!

The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute, the only Federally Recognized Center of Excellence south of Chicago, is adding an additional full-time Pharmacist to our growing team. Core duties include ensuring medication access, insurance coordination, coordination of medication delivery, 340b program management, medication therapy management, patient education, interpreting physician prescriptions and medication orders. The pharmacist is also expected to be a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel. This position also includes coverage for the on-call schedule approximately one week per month.

BCDI’s mission is to provide integrated, family-oriented care, treatment and education for persons with bleeding, blood clotting and other blood disorders. Our multidisciplinary team approach at BCDI collaboratively treats the whole person by addressing the various factors that play a role in treatment, including physical, emotional, psychological, educational, financial, and vocational factors. This collaboration between professionals results in the best care possible for all our patients.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000 Pay is determined by experience & skills.

Requirements:

PharmD from accredited university
Licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Illinois
Two or more years administrative pharmacy experience helpful
Non-sterile and sterile compounding experience a plus
Specialty pharmacy experience a plus
