Full Job Description

We are TN Track Services, Inc, a railroad construction company located in Bartonville, IL. Looking for an organized, professional, energetic, and dependable assistant to aid in maintaining the office and performing bookkeeping tasks.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring our office runs smoothly.

Your primary duties will include:

· Coordinating and making hotel reservations for crew members.

· Assisting in accounts payables, picking up mail and deposits

· Performing data entry and reconciling accounts, working with employees to gather receipts and expense account information.

· Maintaining vendor lists and managing the ordering and inventory of operational and office supplies.

· Processing warranty/return items and handling shipping and receiving tasks

· Fleet management: vehicle registration, inspections, and maintenance & repairs.

· Running errands

· Performing additional office and clerical support as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, bookkeeper, or in another relevant administrative role
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
Knowledge of Quickbooks
Working knowledge of office equipment
Thorough understanding of office management procedures
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Professional phone skills
Able to multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Clean driving and background record
Computer knowledge
Able to follow instructions

Hours: 8am-4pm M-F
