Neurological & Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive OT evaluations and functional assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on independence and quality of life
Treat patients recovering from neurological and orthopedic conditions in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
Address ADLs, self-care, mobility, upper extremity function, and functional independence
Provide care for patients with stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, orthopedic surgery, and other complex diagnoses
Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications when appropriate
Educate patients and caregivers on safety, recovery, and discharge planning
Collaborate with physicians, PTs, SLPs, nurses, case managers, and the interdisciplinary rehab team

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current OT license or eligibility for Arizona licensure
New graduate Occupational Therapists encouraged to apply
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
