Full Job Description

Overview

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) during daytime hours from 6 AM to 2 PM!

In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care to our residents.. You’ll be an essential part of a 5-star rated, dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive environment for both patients and colleagues. Your energy, attention to detail, and genuine empathy will make a meaningful difference every day.

Duties

Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
Support patient transfer methods using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts and ensure safe manual handling practices
Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
Collaborate with nursing staff to administer medications (if you are a certified med aide).
Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly to ensure timely intervention
Follow aseptic techniques during wound care, catheter care, and other procedures to prevent infection

Experience

Prior experience working as a CNA or in a healthcare setting such as long-term care, home health, etc.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like PointClickCare.
Experience providing specialized care such as Alzheimer’s/dementia care, memory support, behavioral health management or hospice care is highly valued
Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and safe lifting practices including the use of Hoyer lifts and other patient transfer methods
Demonstrated caregiving skills working with diverse populations including geriatric patients.
Certification in CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) is required; additional certifications like phlebotomy or medication administration are advantageous

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
