Travel RN – GI Lab / Endoscopy | Santa Rosa, CA | $2,721/Week

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Schedule: 4x10-Hour Shifts

Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $2,721/week (40 hours)

About the Role We are seeking an experienced GI Lab Registered Nurse to join the Gastroenterology/ASC team at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital — a 277-bed acute care hospital in the heart of Sonoma Wine Country, Santa Rosa, CA. In this role, you will provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care in both the inpatient and ambulatory surgical center (ASC) settings, floating between the two as needed. Conscious sedation administration and monitoring experience is required. Candidates without Endoscopy RN experience will be considered if they have strong pre-op/post-op backgrounds. First-time travelers are welcome. Locals accepted. Active California RN license required — pending licenses not accepted. The facility may call off once per two-week pay period.

Requirements

Active California RN license (must be currently active — pending not accepted)
Minimum 1 year of GI Lab, Endoscopy, or Pre-op/Post-op RN experience required
Experience administering and monitoring Conscious Sedation required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Epic EMR experience required
On-call availability required
All RTO must be included at time of submittal
Travel experience not required — first-timers accepted
Locals accepted

Skills & Competencies

Conscious sedation administration and monitoring
Pre- and post-procedure patient assessment and care
GI/Endoscopy procedure assistance and nursing support
IV access, medication administration, and procedural pharmacology
Recognition and management of procedure-related complications
Patient and family education on GI procedures and recovery
Float between inpatient and ASC settings
Epic EMR documentation
Effective collaboration with gastroenterologists, anesthesia, and procedural teams

Unit Information

Setting: GI Lab / Gastroenterology ASC — Inpatient & Ambulatory Surgical Center
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital | 277 Staffed Beds
Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Ratio: 1:2 (Days)
Float: Required between inpatient and ASC
Schedule: Monday–Friday only — no weekends required
On Call: Required
Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 request (must be included at time of submittal)
Orientation: 40 hours
EMR: Epic
Scrub Color: Royal Blue or Navy Blue (scrubs provided for Endo)
Parking: Free on campus
Note: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period

Travel Contract Details
