Full Job Description

We are a dynamic and growing oral surgery office located in the Nashua area. We are looking for a new team member with experience in dental or medical billing. Dental claims experience is REQUIRED. We are interested in an outstanding "can-do" personality. The ability to multi-task, learn quickly and hit the ground running is crucial. This is a full-time position with no weekends! We offer benefits and competitive wages!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Eligibility and benefits on multiple insurance websites and calls to insurance companies, both in and out of network.
Verify and update patient and insurance company information
Inform patients of insurance benefits
Answer and manage calls regarding insurance questions, estimates, and statements
Inform patients of financial treatment plan options, insurance estimates, and explain coordination of benefits.
Prepare claim forms for dental insurance, arrange and submit supporting documents for insurance claims, medical and dental insurances, both online and on paper.
Work collaboratively with the entire team to ensure an optimal experience for patients
Posting patient and insurance payments
Reviewing statements/collections
Participate and be a leader in sharing insurance knowledge, trends, and seeking ways to work more efficiently as a team.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 1-2 year of dental or medical billing experience
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and coordination of benefits
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Have a warm, inviting personality to connect with patients and team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
