Chimney Technician & Project Consultant

A.O. Handy Inc. – New Berlin, WI

This is not just a technician job.
This is a performance-based career opportunity with real income growth.

A.O. Handy Inc. is a fast growing masonry company specializing in Masonry, Chimneys, Concrete in Wisconsin. The Chimney service's are in its own separate division within the company.

We are looking for motivated individuals who can perform high-quality chimney inspections and cleanings while also educating homeowners and generating repair work through professionalism and trust.

You will be both a skilled technician and a project consultant.

Compensation Structure

After the training period, compensation transitions into a commission-based structure tied to:

Chimney cleanings
Inspections
Repair work sold
Additional masonry services generated

We operate on a tier-based commission system. The more you produce, the more you earn. There is no income ceiling.

This role is designed for someone who wants to grow into a six-figure income through performance, not just hourly labor.

What You’ll Be Doing

Performing chimney inspections and cleanings
Identifying structural and safety issues
Taking photos and documenting findings on a company tablet
Explaining issues clearly and professionally to homeowners
Recommending necessary repairs
Generating repair and masonry project opportunities
Driving to multiple homes daily — your company truck is your office
Working in various weather conditions

You will often work independently. You are expected to move efficiently, stay organized, and represent the company professionally.

What We’re Looking For

Valid driver’s license
Comfortable driving daily
Knowledge of navigation apps, Google, tablet and computer use
Strong communication skills
Ability to explain mechanical issues in simple terms
Basic reading and math skills (measurements, payments, documentation)
Weather resistant
GED or high school diploma not required

Experience in chimney work, masonry, roofing, or construction is preferred.
Minimum one year of installation or service experience is ideal.
