As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Hotel General Manager to lead one of our properties and uphold the high standards our guests and associates have come to expect.
Position Summary
The Hotel General Manager is responsible for the overall operation, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team leadership of the hotel. This individual will provide strategic direction while ensuring exceptional service, operational excellence, and compliance with brand standards and company policies.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality, proven operational expertise, and the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage (if applicable) and Sales.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability through effective budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and revenue optimization.
- Deliver outstanding guest experiences by maintaining superior service standards and promptly resolving guest concerns.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a talented team while fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with all brand standards, company policies, safety regulations, and local, state, and federal laws.
- Monitor key performance indicators, including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, guest satisfaction, and labor costs.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to develop and execute business strategies that achieve operational and financial goals.
- Maintain the property's physical condition through proactive maintenance and capital planning.
- Build strong relationships within the local community to promote the hotel and generate business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Hotel General Manager experience or progressive hotel leadership experience.
- Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, Choice Hotels, or other nationally recognized hotel brands preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with hotel property management systems and revenue management tools.
