Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Salon Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily salon operations, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and staff alike. Your proactive approach will help maintain efficient front desk activities, manage appointments, and support administrative functions that keep the salon running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant, customer-focused environment where your organizational skills and positive attitude will shine.

Responsibilities

Manage front desk operations, including greeting clients, answering multi-line phone systems, and providing exceptional customer service with professional phone etiquette.
Schedule and confirm appointments using Word processing and calendar management tools, ensuring optimal utilization of salon resources.
Handle client communication effectively, addressing inquiries promptly and maintaining positive relationships through clear and friendly correspondence.
Maintain accurate filing systems, process payments, and manage client records with attention to detail.
Support office management tasks such as inventory tracking, supply ordering, and maintaining cleanliness of the reception area.
Assist with clerical duties including proofreading documents, data entry, and managing correspondence to ensure smooth administrative workflows.
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of daily tasks and uphold high standards of customer support.

Requirements

Proven office management or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment; previous front desk or receptionist roles are highly valued.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively.
Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone reception and multi-line phone system experience.
Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse clientele.
Demonstrated clerical experience including filing, proofreading, typing, and calendar management.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on client communication and support.
Personal assistant or office assistant experience is advantageous for handling varied responsibilities seamlessly.
