Full Job Description

Front Desk/Salon Coordinator
Wild Honey is hiring a Salon Coordinator! We are a busy upscale hair salon located in Old City Philadelphia and West Chester that is highly focused on the guest experience. As the salon coordinator you are Wild Honey's first and last impression to a salon guest. For this reason you are an integral part of the team. This position is task oriented, customer success driven, and team focused. The person in this position will manage salon assistants and ensure smooth daily operations of the salon.

Vision: To elevate the salon experience for our team and our guests through our education focused, kind, and team based environment. We do this so that we are able to create wealthy and balanced lives for ourselves while leaving each guest and team member we encounter a little better than we found them.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Guest experience

Greet guests in a friendly and upbeat manner
Knowledgeable about products and services
Book guests for correct services and timing
Booking appointments through our salon software, email, and text
Assisting with retail Sales
Greeting guests and offering them snacks + beverages
Assisting clients with needs or concerns
Light inventory + cleaning
Lifting boxes
General office work
Helping team members when applicable
Anticipating stylists + guests needs and delegating salon duties
Keeping assistants on task

Salon Cleanliness

It is the role of every team member to help out and insure the salon looks clean for our guests
Restock and wipe down product shelves
Inventory
Ensure completion of daily cleanliness check list

Required skills:

Exceptional Customer Service skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with guests and stylists in person over phone, email, and text message
Organizational skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly
Time management skills to prioritize and complete tasks throughout the day
Patience and listening skills to respond appropriately and interact positively with upset guests
Upbeat, friendly and willing to go above and beyond for guests
Willing to learn and recommend products within the salon
Team player
Self motivated
Previous management experience is required- preferably in a salon/ beauty setting
