Full Job Description

Accounting/Payroll - $18-21/hr, full-time.

Job Description:

The primary duties of this position revolves around Payroll, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger entries. There will also be some other various bookkeeping related responsibilities. The person who will be successful in this position needs to be proficient with the ten key and Excel, and either already knows or is willing and able to learn the internal accounting software system (AS400). This person must be comfortable working on their own, and as part of a team. A successful candidate will have good time management and problem-solving skills, and will have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers and co-workers. This position is located at the Corporate Office in Junction City.

Key Responsibilities

- Payroll Processing Including P/R Tax Reporting

- General Ledger

- Accounts Payable and Account Receivable Processing

- Other Various Bookkeeping Responsibilities

- Reconciling Various Accounts

- Handling Some External and Internal Reporting

Required Skills/Experience:

- Ten Key

- Excel

- Word

- Email

- Very Accurate and Efficient Data Entry

Skills/Qualities:

- 1+ Year of Payroll and AR/AP and/or Bookkeeping Experience

- Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills

- Ability to Problem Solve

- Independent Worker/Takes Initiative

- Good Time Management Skills

- Team Player

- Hard Working/Dedicated

- Ability to Learn Quickly

Education: High School or Equivalent (required), Additional Education (preferred)
